## What they believe
Forestview Community Church is a Reformed congregation in the Reformation Canada Network. It holds the Bible, Old and New Testaments, to be the Word of God and its final authority in all matters of faith and life, and confesses one God in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It teaches that salvation is a free gift of God's grace received by faith, baptizes adults who profess faith in Christ and the children of believing parents, and welcomes any baptized believer to the Lord's Table.

## What to expect
Services begin with a call to worship and songs led by the worship team. Children and youth 12 and under hear a children's message and then go to age-specific teaching groups, while the service continues with teaching by the pastor, the offering and congregational prayer led by members of the church. The Lord's Supper is celebrated regularly, and services generally last about 75 minutes.

## About this congregation
Forestview Community Church meets at 132 Lake Street. It is a member congregation of the Reformation Canada Network, which it describes as a national network of Reformed churches in an accountability relationship across Canada. The network, formed in 2022 by Canadian pastors and church leaders who had served within the Reformed Church in America, lists Forestview among its Ontario congregations.

John and Gail DeGiovanni have ministered at Forestview as a pastoral team since 2001. The church describes itself as a family of people from many different social and religious backgrounds who are all in the process of change to become more like Jesus, and says that it takes the Bible very seriously but does not take itself quite so seriously.

Worship is at ten on Sunday morning, in person and livestreamed on YouTube. The church's other ministries include Forestview Kids and Forestview Youth, life groups, Alpha and Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centred program for anyone dealing with 'hurts, habits, or hang-ups', which meets on Wednesday evenings at seven.
